A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo following his victory in the Edo State governorship election.
Oyintiloye described the win as a “well-deserved victory” and a “beacon of hope” for democracy in Nigeria.
In a statement made available to WESTERN POST in Osogbo, Oyintiloye commended the people of Edo State for their peaceful and enthusiastic participation in the electoral process, stating, “The people of Edo have made us proud by turning out in large numbers to exercise their constitutional right.”
He emphasized that Okpebholo’s victory is not only a testament to the will of the people but also a clear mandate for the re-engineering of the national economy in favor of the masses.
Oyintiloye outlined the key challenges facing the incoming administration, highlighting the need for a comprehensive development blueprint.
“The task ahead is to craft a strategic framework for sustainable growth, focusing on economic revitalization and social rejuvenation that will lead to widespread prosperity,” he said.
He further noted that the victory signifies a call to action, urging Okpebholo to focus on infrastructure development and the implementation of progressive policies aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
“This triumph is an opportunity to deepen democratic values, advance social democracy, and ensure a better life and prosperity for all citizens,” Oyintiloye added.
