Birthday Prayers: Tinubu reflects on challenges, calls for peace

President Bola Tinubu on Sunday described his birthday as a “solemn day” and called on Nigerians to give thanks to Almighty Allah for their lives and blessings.

Speaking during his birthday prayer session at the Abuja National Mosque, the President expressed gratitude for the well-being of his family and team members.

He acknowledged the difficult period the nation is facing, attributing some of the challenges to the ongoing war in the Middle East.

“We pray to Almighty Allah to bring peace and stability to the rest of the world,” he said, highlighting the global impact of the conflict.

President Tinubu also used the occasion to reflect on domestic issues, including electricity shortages, rising transportation costs, and expected inflation.

“We are a resilient nation that is very committed, and in the will of Almighty God, we will overcome all hardship,” he said.

He urged Nigerians to join him in gratitude and rededication to the country’s development and prosperity.

“It is time to reflect and give thanks to Almighty as well as rededicate ourselves to the progress, development, and prosperity of this country,” he stated, emphasising faith, unity, and resilience in facing challenges.
