Birthday tributes to a political titan called Chief Bisi Akande at 85, By Mashood Erubami
The leader of a principal Human Rights and Pro Democracy Group, the Coalition for Democracy in Nigeria (CODIN) and a former Aspirants to the Federal House of Representatives under the Egbeda – Ona Ara Federal Constituency had lauded Chief Bisi Akande, an elder state man who turns 85, acknowledging his tireless efforts in National Progressive politics and unrelenting productive leadership in the All Progressives Congress ( APC) especially before, during and after the 2023 Presidential election which turned out into victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The commendation is coming at a time in Nigeria, when the new government of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is setting a new template for rebuilding the Country from her very low moral standards. When Nigerians are doubling their efforts to erase the attendant underdevelopment, Fighting anti- corruption impunities, ruins of insurgents, kidnapping, banditry, economic downturns, and social decay.
Erubami in a statement signed on behalf of his group of democrats expressed hope that Chief Bisi Akande next birthday will bring joy and happiness that will underscore an acceptable leadership for the ruling government of President Tinubu who would have achieved better governance, a less corrupt, more secured and economically advanced nation making a huge difference from the last eight years of the tragically corrupt governance in the Country.
Comrade Erubami thanked God for counting himself among Sons, Friends and Loyal followers of Chief Bisi Akande that are able to eulogize him while still alive, as a true Awoist, who does not joke with transparency and best practices, a quintessential leader and a remarkable father, that combines entrenched vestiges of good conscience with discretion and accountability.
Erubami reiterated that it is quite gratifying that Chief Bisi Akande imbues so much good and selfless leadership qualities at the rare age of 85, that not many easily attain in life !.
According to the President of the pro- democracy group, he pointed at the fact that Chief Bisi Akande is not just a Political Titan, but also a marvelous husband, and a remarkable father, who cares, a leader who is committed to doing things rightly, Clear-headed, a man with contagious smile and infectious laugh, very decent, Pro- people, people- centered, decorous and very bold, reiterating that he is undoubtedly a known, no nonsense person, who remains a compassionate and very steady and courageous man.
He wished him a Happy birthday at his ripe age of 85 when he is still an intelligent, highly cerebral, responsible, easy going and compassionate political leader.
Comrade Erubami prayed that he continues to be advancing on the pinnacles of greatness and excellence as the people’s leader and remarkable father of the elites and the less privileged wishing him to go on and live more lives of joy and prosperity.!
Finally, he congratulates him on this great day and wish him loads of happy returns in good health, blessed condition of livelihood during his lifetime and for the rest of his life on mother Earth, praying that the good Lord lengthens his life to benefit from the bountiful contributions into the life of People’s lives that he has touched and to eat from the juicy fruits of his labour on his children.
