Bisexuality: Ayodeji got trapped

As a witness to the illicit activities of Mr. Ayodeji Damilola Otubela, Mr. Samson Oyeshihan confirms that Mr. Ayodeji is a bisexual individual. He recounts a time when he drove his boss, who is openly gay, to a clandestine gay wedding where he saw Ayodeji with his male partner.

Aware of the social stigma and persecution faced by the LGBTQ+ community in Nigeria, Ayodeji pleaded with Samson to keep his sexual orientation a secret.

This experience is one of the reasons that has led Ayodeji to seek asylum in order to protect himself and others from discrimination and violence based on sexual orientation.
