Bobrisky is most searched Nigerian personality in 2024

One of Nigeria’s most controversial personalities, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye aka Bobrisky, has been announced the most searched Nigerian personalities in 2024.
The self-acclaimed transgender, who had also identified as a male while in detention, is said to be the most searched name on Google.
On Tuesday, December 12, Google unveiled the findings of its 2024 Year in Search for Nigeria, which showcased the most popular searches, notable individuals, actors, musicians, topics, questions, and other subjects that captured Nigerians’ attention during the course of the year.
Apart from a continued interest in the political and economic landscape, with searches related to the US elections, the new national anthem, and the national grid topping the news category in this order, Nigerians were also curious about personalities like Bobrisky, who led the trending people’s list this year.
Bobrisky was joined on the list by Betta Edu, Shallipopi, Khaid, Bukunmi Oluwashina, Sharon Ooja, Adanma Luke, Yahaya Bello, Mike Ejeagba and Farooq Oreagba.
