BREAKING: 27 Rivers assembly members dump PDP for APC
27 out of the 32 members of the Peoples Democratic Party in River State have dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress.
The PDP lawmakers are said to be loyal to Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, who is said to be at war with the Governor of the State, Siminialayi Fubara.
The defecting lawmaker cited division in the PDP as reason for their defection.
