This was contained in a circular issued by the Registrar, Olugbenga Arajulu, who explained that the decision was taken to honour the memory of the deceased students and to sympathize with their families, as well as the university community.

The exams, initially slated to begin on Monday, July 28, 2025, will now start on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
