BREAKING: APC presidential campaign to kick off in Kaduna October 24 – Yari

AbdulAziz Yari, director-general of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, says the party will begin its campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in Kaduna on October 24.
Yari, a former governor of Zamfara State, disclosed this on Friday while briefing State House correspondents after meeting with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said the President had approved the proposed campaign timetable, including state visits ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to Yari, the campaign council’s inaugural meeting will hold on October 14 at the State House Banquet Hall, ahead of the formal campaign flag-off in Kaduna.
“The inaugural meeting is going to be done on the 14th of this month, that’s next Wednesday, at the State House Banquet Hall. By God’s grace, on the 24th of October, we’re going to do our flag-off campaign in Kaduna,” he said.
Yari said Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and Maiduguri, Borno State, were among the next destinations on the campaign schedule.
He added that the full timetable for the proposed state visits would be made public after the council’s inauguration.
“We have outlined our state visits to each and every place where we will go, and the President has approved them. So, we are going to hit the ground running by the 24th of October,” he said.
