BREAKING: Betara, Gagdi step down for Abbas as House of Reps speaker

Aspirants for the House of Representatives Speakership position, Hon. Aliyu Betara and Hon. Yusuf Gagdi have both agreed to stepdown for Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas.

Both aspirants agreed to step down for Abbas after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Abass who represents Zaria Federal Constituency is the choice of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Speakership position.
