BREAKING: Chelsea to face Madrid in Champions League quarter-final

Defending champions Chelsea have been paired against Spanish giants Real Madrid in the quarter final of the UEFA Champions League.

The draws which was held on Friday also saw Premier League leaders Manchester City paired against another Spanish club Atletico Madrid.

Atletico saw off City neighbours Manchester United in the Round of 16.

Liverpool are up against Portuguese side Benfica, while Samuel Chukwueze and his Villarreal teammates are up against Bayern Munich.

Quarter-final first legs games will be played on April 5/6, while the second leg game will take place on April 12/13.

The semi-final draws which was also done sees the winners in the Chelsea, Madrid game slug it out with the winners of the City Atletico game, while the winners in the Liverpool, Benfica game will contend with the victorious side between Villarreal and Bayern for a place in the final.
