BREAKING: Court sentences Offa robbery masterminds to death
Justice Haleemah Salman of the Kwara State High Court, Thursday, found the five suspects involved in the Offa robbery guilty of illegal possession of firearms, armed robbery, and culpable homicide.
The judge stated that the offenses are punishable by death.
The trial of the suspects in the case lasted for six years.
Over 30 people were killed in the community in the April 5, 2018, Offa robbery.
