BREAKING: Epe Kingdom elects new Olu Epe

The Epe Kingdom in Lagos State has elected new monarch, the Olu-Epe, on Monday a day after the demise of their late king.
It would be recalled that late Oba Shefiu Adewale died on Sunday at the age of 86.
In a momentous event, the Balogun of the kingdom, High Chief Kadri Odedeogboro was officially elected as the new Olu Epe of Epe Kingdom.
The selection came during a special Islamic prayer session held on Monday morning (Today) at the Epe Central Mosque in honour of the late Olu Epe His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Shefiu Olatunji Adewale.
In a significant and spiritual moment, the new Olu-Epe was formally dressed in traditional royal attire at the mosque, symbolizing his acceptance as the new monarch of the kingdom.
Following his formal presentation, the newly elected Olu Epe addressed the congregation and the people of Epe with a heartfelt promises.
