BREAKING: Fire guts Lagos-based logistic company

The warehouse of a Lagos-based logistic company, Flux Logistics was on Sunday gutted by fire.
It was learnt that the fire outbreak occurred around 8:58am.
According to an eyewitness, officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service stormed the company’s warehouse on Sapara Street, off Oba Akran Avenue, Ikeja, to put off the fire.
It was gathered that the inferno involved finished distilled volatile products which were ethanol in chemical compounds and stored in combustible bottles within a large expanse warehouse block.
Confirming the fire incident, the Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, revealed that the fire was curtailed by Lagos Fire Crews from Ikeja, Alausa and Bolade.
Adeseye said that everything was being done to ensure the fire did not spread beyond the boundaries of the store.
Also, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), through its Lagos Territorial Office, confirmed the fire.
The state Coordinator of the NEMA Territorial Office, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the fire consumed the whole company which warehouses imported drinks and a few foreign materials.
