BREAKING: Fire guts TCN power substation in Lagos
Fire has gutted a section of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) power sub-station located at Maryland junction, Lagos.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that the fire started around 20:06 hours of Saturday night when most staff have left to their various homes.
WesternPost learnt that residents in the area were quick to contact fire service before escalating to residential areas in Maryland.
Eyewitnesses said it was the gallantry crew of the Ilupeju Fire Station of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service that came to quench the fire.
