BREAKING: Five persons die as truck, car collide at Arepo
At least five persons have been killed as a truck collided with a Toyota Camry car at Arepo bus stop area on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Wednesday
According to eyewitness, the incident occurred at about 1:30pm when some motorcycle riders took ‘one way’ to beat the traffic caused by the ongoing road construction at the OPIC end of the ever busy road.
The eyewitness said that the truck hit the car from behind which lost control and hit several motorcycles plying the ‘one way’.
As at the time of filing this report, policemen, soldiers and the operatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) were said to be at the scene managing the situation.
