BREAKING: Justice Tanko Muhammad resigns as CJN
Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad has resigned from office.
According to reports, the CJN tendered his resignation Sunday evening, citing ill-health.
The next most senior justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, is expected to be sworn in as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Until his resignation, reports had it that Justice Muhammad was seriously ill.
