BREAKING: Lagos dominates boxing at 2024 National Youth Games

Team Lagos made history by claiming all four gold medals in the boxing competition at the 2024 National Youth Games. The U-15 boxing team delivered a clean sweep across various weight categories, cementing Lagos’ dominance in the sport and marking a major milestone for youth sports in Nigeria.

The gold rush began with Agboola Oyindamola’s triumph in the 40kg female category, followed by Bello Olamide Lawal’s impressive victory in the 42kg male division. Yakubu Sofiat continued the winning streak with her performance in the 42kg female class, while Bolarinwa Michael sealed the sweep by taking gold in the 44kg male category.
