BREAKING: Lagos Lawmaker dies in Jos
A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. AbdulSobur Olawale (Omititi), has died.
He reportedly slumped and died in Jos, Plateau State.
Olawale, who represented Mushin Constituency 2 from 2015 till when he died, was said to have slumped at the campaign flag off ceremony of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
A source close to the deceased informed WesternPost that the lawmaker died while being rushed to a nearby hospital.
The source disclosed further that the lawmaker was sick before attending the flag off event.
Olawale until his death was the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government.
He was 60 years old.
