BREAKING: Lagos Speaker, Obasa impeached
The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. (Hon) Mudashiru Obasa, has been impeached by the members of the House for gross misconduct and abuse of office.
He was replaced with the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Mojisola Miranda.
Obasa was reportedly impeached by 32 members of the Lagos State House of Assembly.The impeachment follows allegations of corruption and financial mismanagement against the speaker.
