BREAKING: LP picks Datti-Ahmed as Peter Obi’s running mate
The Labour Party has picked the founder of Baze University, Abuja Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as its substantive vice-presidential candidate.
Baba-Ahmed’s choice came after Doyin Okupe whose name was submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission as the placeholder running mate announced his withdrawal.
According to Julius Abure, LP national chairman, Baba-Hamed will be unveiled at the party’s headquarters on Friday.
Baba-Ahmed will fly the party’s presidential flag along with former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi who emerged the presidential candidate.
