BREAKING: Many injured as mini bus rams into Okada in Ajegunle
Many feared injured on Monday in a motor accident involving a fully loaded mini commercial bus, commonly known as Korope, and motorcycle rider (Okada man) in Ajegunle area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that the accident occurred at about 8:55am near Marine Beach area of Ajegunle.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in a post on its Facebook page, confirmed that the fully loaded mini bus had a failed brake descending from Marine Bridge towards Marine Beach negotiating Mobil Road.
The agency said the bus ran into an okada man and was finally stopped by Mobil fence.
It also confirmed that ten casualties were recorded, adding that they had been rushed to the hospital.
LASTMA added “Accident victims already rushed to Naval Hospital at Naval Road Alayabiagba, Ajegunle. Police already on ground taking records and vehicle is about to be towed to Area B in Apapa.
“Officers are on ground managing the situation”.
