BREAKING: Obasa yet to withdraw case against Lagos House of Assembly

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, is yet to withdraw his case against the Assembly, days after meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House alongside other Assembly members.

At the resumed hearing of the case at the State High Court on Monday, members of the Assembly were surprised to learn that the reinstated Speaker is still pursuing legal action against the institution he presides over.

A member of the Assembly told our correspondent that lawmakers were shocked that, despite President Tinubu’s intervention and those of other key stakeholders, including Chief Bisi Akande and Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Obasa remains committed to the lawsuit against them.
