BREAKING: Obaseki names 38-year-old engineer new Edo deputy governor
Thirty-eight-year-old Omobayo Godwin, an engineer, has been named by Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki as his new deputy. He is scheduled to take office soon.
This occurred soon after the state House of Assembly impeached Philip Shaibu, the former deputy governor, on Monday.
Shuaibu was fired for disclosing information about the state government, according to the panel established for the former deputy governor’s impeachment proceedings.
