BREAKING: Osimhen, Oshoala win Africa’s best player awards
Nigeria won both categories as Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala were named best players in Africa in the men and women categories.
Osimhen defeated Egypt’s Mohammed Salah and Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi to become the first Nigerian to win the crown in 24 years while Oshoala claimed the award for a record sixth time.
