BREAKING: Reps donate N705m to FG for vulnerable Nigerians

The House of Representatives has donated N705 million to the federal government to support vulnerable Nigerians.
The amount represents six months’ salary of its members, covering July to December 2024.
The donation was announced on Monday during an Iftar event at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where principal officers of the House gathered to break their fast.
Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, presented the donation on behalf of the lawmakers, reaffirming their commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by many Nigerians.
