BREAKING: Sanwo-Olu swears-in new Chairman for Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday sworn in Otunba Oladipupo Oluwaloni ( OLO 1) as the substantive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Alimosho local government.

Announcing the swearing in of Oluwaloni, Governor Sanwo-Olu on his facebook page, encouraged him to listen to and collaborate closely with the community.

Sanwo-Olu said “Today, I swore in Otunba Oladipupo Oluwaloni as the new Chairman for the Ayobo Ipaja Local Council Development Area.

” I encouraged him to listen to and collaborate closely with the community as he is there to serve them. Together, through unity, we can achieve our vision for a greater Lagos”.

Oluwaloni, who took the oath in company of his wife, pledged to consolidate on the legacy of his predecessor, noting that his administration would focus on infrastructural renewal to drive more socio-economic growth in the council.

Those who attended the event include; Lagos Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hazmat, Lagos Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, member representing Alimosho 1 in the House of Assembly, Hon. Kehinde Joseph, members of Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA executive council, Councillors and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in council area.

Oluwaloni, a real estate expert, is formerly the Vice Chairman of the LCDA between 2021 to March 2025. He later became the Acting Chairman of the Council after the death of the  substantive Chairman, Mrs  Bolatito Shobowale.

He is a founding member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and now All Progressives Congress (APC).
