BREAKING: Secretary to Ondo State Government passes on

Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), has passed away.

Oluwatuyi, who was appointed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in January 2024, died on Saturday morning at an undisclosed hospital.

Sources within the Ondo State government confirmed the development to SaharaReporters.

The deceased had also served as the Ondo SSG during the late Rotimi Akeredolu’s administration.

In December, reports indicated that Oluwatuyi was involved in a car accident along the Ife-Ibadan Expressway.

The vehicle he was traveling in reportedly skidded off the road into the bush. The late SSG, who sustained injuries, was subsequently admitted to the intensive care unit of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
