BREAKING: Six workers trapped as 7-storey building collapses in Lekki
Six artisans were trapped in a 7-storey building that collapsed on Sunday morning in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The incident occurred at Oba Idowu Oniru Street by Ave Maria Hospital, near Sandfield Bus Stop, Lekki.
Confirming the incident, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu told WesternPost that the building collapsed around 3am, adding that all relevant agencies and stakeholders have mobilised to the site.
Oke-Osanyintolu said that search and rescue operations had commenced at the site.
