BREAKING: Supreme Court upturns Appeal Court ruling, affirms Yusuf’s election as Kano governor

The Supreme Court has upturned the ruling of the Court of Appeal which removed Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from office.

In its ruling on Friday, the apex court declared Yusuf who was the candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in the March 18 governorship election.

Both the tribunal and the appeal court had declared Nasir Yusuf Ganuwa of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the election.
