Breaking: Tension rises as APC, PDP battle over LG control in Osun

Tension is escalating in Osun State as the All Progressives Congress (APC) takes control of several local government areas following a recent court judgment.
The development has led to clashes between suspected APC loyalists and supporters of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), resulting in sporadic gunshots and widespread panic.
Eyewitnesses report that hoodlums invaded several councils, including Osogbo and Olorunda, and began shooting.
Residents, especially those living near the council secretariats, have been thrown into panic as sporadic gunfire filled the air.
Security operatives are present in the affected areas, working to restore order.
