BREAKING: Tinubu appoints, Alake, Edun, Ribadu, Verheijen, four others Special Advisers

The President, Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight special advisers.
This was contained in a statment signed by the Director, Information, State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye.
Among those appointed are former Lagos State Information Commissioner, Dele Alake, who becomes the Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy. Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu was also appointed Special Adviser on Security, while Wale Edun was appointed Special Adviser on Monetary Policies.
Others are; Yau Darazo, Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Mrs. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser, Energy; Zachaeus Adedeji, Special Adviser, Revenue; John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment and Dr (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Adviser, Health.
The appointments are with immediate effect.
These are the second set of appointments President Tinubu is making after announcing that of George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff to the President.
The 9th Senate had earlier approved the president’s request to appoint 20 Special Advisers.
