Breaking: Tinubu approves reduction in IGR deductions from government agencies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken a step to ease the financial burden on government agencies by approving a substantial reduction in the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) deductions owed to the federal government.
The deduction rate has been slashed from 50% to 20%, a move that is expected to provide more financial autonomy to various agencies.
In response to this development, leaders of several unions are currently in discussions with the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to deliberate on their stance and the implications of this policy change.
The outcome of these discussions could have significant ramifications for the operational and financial strategies of affected agencies across the nation.
