BREAKING: Tinubu in closed-door meeting with Yahaya Bello
Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is presently meeting with Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.
Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Abdullahi Ganduje and Bello Matawalle of Lagos, Kano and Zamfara states accompanied Tinubu to the meeting.
Former national chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole is also on the entourage.
The meeting is believed to be in continuation of Tinubu’s consultation with party leaders after clinching the presidential ticket at the primary election on Wednesday.
Tinubu had earlier met with the party’s National Working Committee and 11 northern APC governors on Thursday.
He thereafter paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Thursday evening.
Bello who rejected the resolution of the northern APC governors that power should shift to the South, had 47 votes at the primary election to place fifth.
