BREAKING: Senate approves Tinubu’s request to appoint 20 special advisers

The Senate has approved a request by President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of 20 special advisers.

The president’s letter, seeking for approval for the appointments was read at plenary on Tuesday.

Senate Leader, Senator Ibrahim Gobir (APC – Sokoto East), moved a motion that “the Senate do consider the request of Mr. President C-in-C for the approval of the Senate to appoint 20 Special Advisers.”

This was seconded by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda.

The senate thereafter approved the president’s request.
