BREAKING: Tragedy as truck crushes car, tricycle at Iyana Isolo
Tragedy as a loaded containerised truck on Monday around 2pm crushed a car and tricycle at Daleko link bridge inward Lagos state University of Technology (LASUTECH), Iyana Isolo area of Lagos state.
According to eyewitness, the truck was on a high speed when it rammed into the car and tricycle.
The eyewitness said that the truck lost control as a result of brake failure, adding that the passengers in the tricycle escaped death luckily.
” Truck driver was on a high speed when approaching Iyana Isolo bridge, instead of him to slow down. As he got close to where those coming from Ejigbo-Isolo, he wanted to apply brake but the brake failed.
” The Car was crushed while those in the tricycle were lucky to have flew out before the truck got to them”, said Eyewitness.
As at the time of filing this report, number of causalities unknown.
Meanwhile, policemen from Ilasa Division and the operatives of Lagos State Transportation Management Agency (LASTMA) were said to be on ground for evacuation.
