BREAKING: UAE yet to resume visa issuance to Nigerians- Presidency
The federal government of Nigeria has debunked the viral reports that United Arab Emirates (UAE) had resumed visa issuance to Nigerians.
The Nigerian government made this known in a short statement posted by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga on his X handle.
Onanuga said that the document in circulation was not authorized either by the Nigerian government or the UAE.
“UAE has not resumed visa issuance to Nigerians. The document in circulation is not authorized either by the Nigerian government or the UAE”, said Onanuga.
WesternPost reports that on Tuesday afternoon, some sections of the media (Not WesternPost) reported that the government of the UAE had lifted the ban on visa issuance to Nigerians.
