BREAKING: US-bound Delta Airline cancels flight over brake failure in Lagos

Kunle Sanni, Abuja

Delta Airline has canceled its scheduled flight services en route to Atlanta, United States due to a significant break failure of its aircraft.

Some passengers who had boarded the flights briefed Westernpost on Friday that many passengers who boarded the aircraft were stranded at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.

While our reporter could not immediately reach out to Delta Airlines for comments, a passenger who refused to disclose his name on the Atlanta bound flight said the ordeal started after the passengers stayed inside the aircraft for over three hours before they were told to disembark from the plane.

“The experience was so disheartening and frustrating,” the passenger said asking for anonymity.

The source added,” We were later informed that the flight was cancelled because of a brake failure that was discovered after we had already waited and being delayed by Delta Airlines for over three hours.”

Delta Airlines operates majorly in domestic and international travel across over 300 destinations in 60 countries.
