BREAKING: US to make Lagos consulate world’s largest
The United States Consulate in Lagos will be the largest in the world when completed in 2027, Ambassador Mary Leonard has said.
The groundbreaking of the consulate which is expected to cost $537million was done by Ambassador Leonard and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Eko Atlantic City in Lagos on Thursday.
According to Ambassador Leonard, the 10-storey consular complex will pump in about $90milion into the Lagos and Nigerian economy.
