CAF best XI: Osimhen, Lookman in, Ekong missing

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named its best eleven for the year 2024, with Nigeria having two players on the list.

Strikers, Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman made the list, while Super Eagles’ skipper William Troost Ekong surprisingly missed the cut despite emerging the AFCON Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Cameroun and Manchester United goalkpeer Andre Onana was picked as the goalkeeper, with Achraf Hakimi, Kalidou Koulibaly, Chancel Mbemba listed in the defence.

The midfield ha Yves Bissouma, Sofyan Amrabat, Franck Kessié and Mohammed Kudus

Egyptian and Liverpiil forward Mohamed Salah joins Osimhen and Lookman in the attack.
