CAF shortlists Lookman, Boniface, Diaz for player of the Year Award

The Confederation of African Football(CAF) has officially announced the final three man shortlist for the prestigious CAF player of the year award.
Before the final showpiece in Marrakesh, the initial ten-man shortlist for the award have been reduced to three.
The shortlisted players for the individual award made the prestigious list due to their superb performances for their respective clubs and countries.
Here is the 3 Contenders
Ademola Lookman (Nigeria),: The Super Eagles and Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman was shortlisted for the award due to his superb display for club and country.
In the 2023/2024 season, The 26 years old winger won the UEFA Europa League and Atalanta’s Player of the year award.
Victor Boniface (Nigeria): The Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface was instrumental for club and country.
In the 2023/2024 season, The highly-rated striker won the Bundesliga title, German Cup and German Super Cup.
Brshim Diaz (Morocco): The Moroccan and Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz was also instrumental for club and country.
In the 2023/2024 season, The 25 years old attacker won the Spanish La Liga title, UEFA Champions League, Spanish Super Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
