Canadian High Commissioner, sailors take part in chess tournament at Oshodi under bridge

Canadian High Commissioner, Kevin Tokarr, and some sailors participated in a chess tournament with some children at the Oshodi Underbridge in Lagos on Tuesday.

Sharing it on his Twitter handle, Chess in Slums initiative founder Tunde Onakoya described it as a historic day.

“On this day in history, the Canadian high commission visited Oshodi under bridge. We received the Canadian High commissioner Kevin Tokar and eight sailors from the HMCS Goose Bay-a Kingston class patrol ship in the Royal Canadian Navy led by Commander Daniel Rice,” Onakoya wrote on Twitter.
