Chairmanship Primaries: Lagos APC constitutes 5-man Election Appeal Committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State Chapter, has inaugurated a 5-man Election Appeal Committee to look into protests from dissatisfied aspirants who participated in the Chairmanship Primaries.
It would be recalled that the party held its Chairmanship and the Councillorship primaries on Saturday at the party’s secretariat and various wards across the State.
The Council election would be held on July 12 across the 20 local governments and 37 Local Development Council Area (LCDAs).
A statement issued on Monday by the party’s Spokesman, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, said that the committee was made up of the State’s Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Lawal Pedro SAN as Chairman.
According to the statement, Otunba Abiodun Olufowobi will serve as Secretary.
Other members are Rt. Hon. Jokotola Pelumi, a former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi, a former honorable member of the house of assembly and State Secretary of the party and Chief Chukwudi Adiukwu.
“We hereby advise discontented aspirants to submit their appeals to the committee not later than 12noon on Tuesday 13th May, 2025”, said the Statement.
