CHAN Eagles edge Sunshine Stars 3-2 in friendly

The CHAN Eagles defeated NPFL side Sunshine Stars of Akure 3-2 in a friendly match on Wednesday afternoon, with newly unveiled Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle watching from the stands.
Enugu Rangers midfielder Isaac Saviour opened the scoring for the home-based Eagles, while NPFL leading scorer Anas Yusuf from Nasarawa United and Shooting Stars left-back Ikouwem Utin added to the tally for the national team.
The team will now take a break from their training camp following the postponement of the CHAN tournament to August.
