CHOGM22: Buhari visits Kigali memorial centre

President Muhammadu Buhari visited the Kigali Memorial Centre to lay wreath in honour of victims of the 1994 Rwanda genocide.

While recalling the ugly incident that led to the death of almost 1 million people during a 100 days of rage between the Hutus and Tutsis, Buhari charged Nigerians and other Africans not to allow ethnic and religious differences to lead to war and human destruction adding that diversity should be turned to strength and prosperity.
