The Coal City Film Festival (CCFF) has announced its 2025 edition, scheduled to take place from March 27 to March 29, 2025, in Enugu.
The festival’s founder and director, Uche Agbo, expressed excitement about the diverse range of films selected for this year’s event.
Agbo said, “Coal City Film Festival has continued to serve as a global platform for filmmakers to showcase their talent, engage with industry stakeholders, and celebrate African storytelling. The 2025 edition promises to be our most vibrant yet.”
The 2025 lineup includes feature films, documentaries, short films, and animations from talented filmmakers across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond. The films were carefully selected based on their storytelling, technical excellence, and cultural relevance.
With the theme “Homecoming for the Vulture,” the festival aims to celebrate legends and forerunners of the industry while also creating mentorship opportunities for emerging filmmakers.
The event will feature panel discussions, workshops, networking sessions, and masterclasses facilitated by top-tier industry professionals.
