Communication minister visits Finland, promises enhanced partnership in digitalisation infrastructure

Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani has announced plans to strengthen partnership with the Finnish government by enhancing longstanding ties in EdTech, digitalisation, Innovation and connectivity infrastructure.
The minister made this known in a post via his X account on Wednesday.
According to the post, the minister had just completed a two day visit to Finland, which he said was told is the first Nigerian ministerial visit in a decade.
“The concept of renewed hope is strengthened when global partners are able to not only connect with President @officialABAT’s long term vision for Nigeria, but also recognise the capacity of our country to play on the global stage as partners. My 2 day visit to Finland, which I am told is the first Nigerian ministerial visit in a decade, has been another chance for us to reaffirm our longstanding ties and learn from Finland’s strengths in EdTech, digitalisation, Innovation and connectivity infrastructure.
“Nigeria remains a strategic partner to Finland and I am very pleased to expand the channels of engagement to allow us leverage available opportunities for collaboration and investment in our digital economy.
“I want to thank our hosts including, @elinavaltonen – Minister for Foreign Affairs, my counterpart minister,Ms @LuluRanne – Minister for Transport and Communications, Mr. @willerydman -Minister for Economic Affairs and the Under-Secretary of State for International Trade, Mr Jarno Syrjälä for their warm welcome and excellent discussions.
