Council Chairman dies in Niger auto crash

The Chairman of Katcha local government in Niger State, Danlami Saku has died in a fatal motor accident near Kwakuti area of Minna-Suleja road.
It was reported that Saku was travelling to Abuja for a function with two other occupants in his car when the accident occurred.
Meanwhile, the governor of the State, Mohammed Bago has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Saku.
A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described Saku’s passing as heartbreaking, noting that it serves as a stark reminder that all creatures come from Allah and will return to Him at the appointed time.
The governor commiserated with the family of the deceased, the people of Katcha and the entire state.
He encouraged the people to remain steadfast in the will of Allah at all times, as He is perfect in all things.
The governor prayed that Allah will make Aljanna Firdausi the final abode of the deceased and comfort all the bereaved.
