BREAKING: Court rejects Abba Kyari’s bail application, grants accelerated hearing
Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja has rejected the bail application of suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sunday J. Ubua.
Sitting on Monday, Justice Nwite said the prosecution has placed sufficient materials before the court to warrant the refusal of bail to Kyari and Ubua.
The trial judge however granted an accelerated hearing to the case.
Kyari, Ubua and five others were charged by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for drug-related offences.
