CP Adekimi Ojo assumes office as 44th Commissioner of Police in Kwara

The Kwara State Police Command has announced that CP Adekimi Ojo, has assumed duty as the 44th Commissioner of Police for the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, in Ilorin on Friday.

CP Adekimi Ojo is a seasoned law enforcement officer with a distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force. He has served in various operational, investigative, and administrative capacities across different states in Nigeria.

Until his recent appointment, he was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations, Kwara State Command, where he played a pivotal role in crime-fighting strategies and security coordination.

CP Adekimi Ojo assured the people of Kwara State of his unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order, combating crime, and fostering a safer environment for all.

He also urged residents to remain law-abiding and cooperate with the police by providing credible information that will aid in crime prevention and a prompt response to security concerns.

“As Muslim faithful in Kwara State and across Nigeria celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt felicitations, wishing all a joyous and peaceful celebration,” CP Ojo stated.

He urged everyone to use the period to promote peace, unity, and mutual understanding while adhering to security advisories for a hitch-free festivity.
