Dapo Abiodun visits Segun Awolowo’s mother, Abbah Folawiyo, commiserates with family

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, visited the mother of the late Segun Awolowo, Sisi Abbah Folawiyo, to commiserate with her over the death of her only child in Lagos.

Segun, the first grandson of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, former Premier of the Western Region, died during the week.

Governor Abiodun described Segun’s death as a huge loss to the Awolowo family, Ogun State, and Nigeria as a whole, noting that he was a spirited public servant, lawyer, and responsible family man who gave his best to his country. He served honourably as Special Assistant to the President, Mandate Secretary in the Federal Capital Territory, and Executive Secretary of the NIPC.
